Theatre / Literary

Linda Coakley (Yarmouth) lindamarie@eastlink.ca 742-1945 Linda has over 30 years experience in drama and theatre arts. This dynamic woman has worked extensively in the Yarmouth area on a variety of drama projects with young people. She has also piloted a Theatre Arts course, founded a theatre school and delivered numerous theatre related workshops and presentations.

Louise Delisle (Shelburne) is an African Nova Scotian writer and visual artist. Her work with Yarmouth Junior High School also incorporated exciting new forms of technology into the student's exploration of the rich African Nova Scotia history of the area.

Visual Arts

François Gaudet (Clare/Digby Co.) is a photo based artist who works with photography and painting. These disciplines can be used together or separately as a means to encourage students to explore issues of identity and place through the art making process.

Alison Stanton (Lockeport) is a potter who imagines a broad range of applications of her skills by fusing the design, manipulation and decoration of ceramics with math, science, language arts, social studies and personal development, geometry, earth sciences and cultural history.

Sharon Trueman (Bear River) uses art to assist teachers in meeting their teaching goals while bringing students to an awareness of how art enriches life and learning. She is familiar with various paint/ drawing techniques and has a background in art therapy and computer animation.
